The Appalachian Trail
The Appalachian Trail, known simply as the "A.T." among those who hike on it,
is a 2174.1-mile-long scenic mountaintop footpath used each year by thousands of backpackers
from around the world to fellowship with wilderness and commune with nature.
The park offers a wide variety of angling experiences from remote, headwater trout streams to large, coolwater smallmouth bass streams.
You must possess a valid fishing license or permit from either Tennessee or North Carolina.

Biking:
Cades Cove Loop Road is a popular bicycling area.
During summer and fall, bicycles may be rented at the Cades Cove store (located near Cades Cove Campground).
Rafting is a very popular activity around Smoky Mountain Area, not just inside
national park. Too many commercial rafting, tubing companies at Tennessee and
North Carolina. The following just list some companies. Shop around and judge by yourself.
