Total 2 campgrounds are inside the Canyonlands National Park,
Squaw Flat and
Willow Flat Campground both are open year-round.
First come first serve. Typically they fills every day from late March
through June and again from early September to mid-October.
Outside of park there are some campgrounds operated by The Bureau of Land Management
around Moab area. Check

A backcountry permit is required for overnight backcountry camping and
other activities with overnight stay like backpacking, four-wheel drive or mountain bike.
Permits are also required for day use by vehicles, bikes and horses in Horse/Salt Creek and
Lavender canyons in the Needles District.
