At big Theme park like Walt Disney World, time is money. The more time you spend waiting in line for a ride or for lunch, the less time you will have to enjoy everything the park has to offer. The following ten tips help you save time, and let you have a relax and fun trip.

1. Be there when the gates open.

Crowds start building quickly after opening, so go early and make sure be there before the park open. Give yourself extra time for looking for direction, parking and local traffic when you plan your drive.

2. Buy tickets in advance.

At big theme parks you could waste your time at long ticket purchase lines. so buy the tickets in advance is a smart idea. Most theme parks allow you to buy ticket on-line. Or you can buy tickets from local promotion, vacation packages etc.

If you must purchase ticket from the park because of coupon discounts, try to arrive early. Usually park start to sell tickets much earlier before the gate is open.

3. Do some homework.

Big theme parks has a lot of different activities and attractions. You may not play them all in one visit. Also most popular rides or activities may take you one or two hours at waiting lines. So do some homework from their website and pick up some as your most want. Go for them first.

Study the map as well to get some general sense about the park.

4. Fastpass first thing.

One of the better innovations of big theme parks is Fastpass (maybe different name at different parks), which allows any guest to collect a timed ticket that puts them ahead of the mob in the snaking queues.

The trick is that you can only hold one Fastpass ticket at a time. The sooner your issued Fastpasses are scheduled and used up, the sooner you can set about securing your second batch.

if you wait too long to pick your first one up, It's also not unusual for a ride to distribute all of its available Fastpasses early in a busy day. So if there's one ride you're dying to experience, get the pass for it as soon as you get through the front gates.

5. Go as far as you can.

When you enter the park, do not go to the attraction that is closest to the gates. Instead, head as far into the nether regions of the parks as you dare and by all means like shuttle. In fact, the good plan to play and avoid crowd is play form the very back of the property to the entrance gate.

6. Get a home base.

Either a picnic table, a rented locker or just a shadowed tree, leave your stuff there and treat it as a home base. Then you do not need to carry everything with you. Save your energy and save your time.

Do not bring too much unnecessary stuffs when you come to theme park. Bring less, play more.

7. Linger until the gates close.

People start to get tired and leave at later afternoon. So when you stay as late as possible, you get less time to wait and more chances to play. The temperatures becomes cool at evening too.

8. Eat early or late

Avoiding peak periods for the lunch and dinner time. You can use these time to play more because the waiting line is short.

Bring your own food and drinks is allowed. That means not just save your budget, also save your meal waiting time.

9. Baby swap.

In the old days, parents had to draw straws to see who would ride the ride and who would watch the kid. So play with your friends family together. Not just kids can have more funs, parents could be a babysitter by turn and get a chance to play what they want themselves.

Most people don't know it, but the parks (Disney and Universal) have implemented a system that allows both parents of small children to ride everything with no additional waiting. Off the loading area of the big rides, there's a room marked "Baby Swap" (ask an employee if you need help finding it. they're often tucked away somewhere).

10. Keep relax.

Do not try a tight schedule and want to see all attractions or play all activities, especially you come with your kids and elders. Remember, you are here for fun, not for cross-traning. Why not just keep relax and do some people watching? Leave some rides for your next trip. That is not pity, that will make your trip more happy and relax for everyone.
