Until I saw the blanket and the mini cooler, then I wouldn’t have guessed it

We were going on a picnic. But I had no idea that we were going to the beach. When John came closer to the used Volkswagen golf, he immediately ordered me to take the passenger’s seat because he was driving. I helped him load all the stuff and we were ready to go. The next thing I knew, the engine of the used Volkswagen golf roared and off to the beach we went. My used Volkswagen and I finds out the truth. We found the spot. The same old spot where I said yes to him a year ago. He loves this place and it makes him nostalgic and all that. There was even one time that he drove the used Volkswagen golf to this spot and it got stuck and we have to seek help. Usually, we leave the used Volkswagen golf by the cliff and at times we hang out there. But this time, we left the used Volkswagen golf by the bay. When I asked what’s the occasion; then suddenly all his smiles went blank and instead, made his way towards the used VW golf and grabbed something from the trunk. I wasn’t able to guess what it was because I never actually saw anything he carried out from the car. And when he finally sat beside me, he brought out a cheesecake that said: “marry me and be my wife” on top of it and on top was a ring. I immediately said yes of course.
