1. Live Shrimp purchase
B&A Seafood is on the right side of Highway 100 (closed!!)
Try across the street where Hwy 100 turns goes over the channel. There is a Quick Stop, the one with all the cool fishing quotes on the marquis.

On Maxan, in Port Isabel, there is Gulf Seafood and Oyster Bar. We used to get shrimp there.

There is a place to buy shrimp near the entrance to the shrimp basin on Hwy 48 on the way to Brownsville, on the right and
Snodgrass Seafood, same highway nearer Brownsville, on the left.

Luvthebeach is right on! Great laid back music while you watch the sun set over the bay. You can drive on the beach at Andy Bowie park on the north side of the island.

Gladys Porter Zoo is one of the best small zoos in the country.
